How to use the HP Locator Search tool

 

In just a few clicks, you can locate HP Partners in your area that offer a range of buying convenience, advanced expertise and exceptional customer service.  Several different search options are available to help you find the best match for your needs. Simply follow these steps:

Search Instructions

 

1: Select the Segment that represents you:

·         Home and Home Office (Consumer)

·         Small & Medium Business (1-500 employees)

·         Large Enterprise Business (more than 500 employees)

·         Federal Government

·         State/Local Government

·         Higher Education

·         Education K - 12

 

2: Select the type of search (choice may depend on the selection you made above):

·         Search by Product

·         Search by Specialization

·         Search by Partner Name

 

3: Select the appropriate geographic option:

·         Local Area search identifies partners in your area. Enter your Street Address, Postal Code, City and Province information.  (Some fields are optional and you will be prompted if more information is required)

·         Proximity Search   will locate partners within the distance you specify.  Enter your location information as above.

 

Once you have entered all your search criteria, click on the [Find] button at the bottom of the page.

Search results

·         The Search results will display a list of HP partners based on your search criteria that are displayed at the top of each results page.

·         Additional details such as distance, specialization and more are available by clicking the various fields within each partner record.

·         Up to ten partners are shown per page, navigation buttons are displayed to move between pages:  Move Next, Last, Previous and First.

Each displayed partner record includes a summary of that partner’s participation in HP programs. These summaries will further help you find the right HP partner.

 


Agent - Partners who provide Value-Added Services to a customer in conjunction with HP Direct sales efforts, and successfully assist the customer to purchase HP products, services and solutions directly from HP.

Authorized Business Solutions Partner (ABSP) - Partner is enabled to provide HP authorized service delivery for HP-branded consulting and implementation services, in either the role of a prime contractor or a subcontractor to HP, including the delivery of HP-branded implementation services on HP enterprise storage systems and Storage Area Networks (SANs).

Authorized Service Delivery Partner (ASDP) - Partner is enabled to provide HP authorized service delivery for HP Care Pack services on HP hardware products, in accordance with the certifications of their technicians, to include first-call handling, remote resolution and final on-site remedial repair or replacement (as applicable or necessary). Customers purchasing HP Care Pack services from an ASDP will experience the combination of vendor-branded support services delivered by their trusted local reseller.

Authorized Warranty Delivery Partner (AWDP) - Partner is enabled to provide HP authorized warranty service delivery on HP hardware products, in accordance with the certifications of their technicians, to include first-call handling, remote resolution and final on-site remedial repair or replacement (as applicable or necessary). Partner is also assisted with the infrastructure necessary (HP parts/assemblies, servicing information) to offer post-warranty hardware support services under their own brand.



Blade System - PC and Workstation Elite - HP Blade System Elite PC & Workstation partner’s designation are experts in business infrastructure and PC and Workstation solutions, with superior industry qualifications and skills that have been validated by HP


Blade System Servers and Storage Elite - BladeSystem - Servers & Storage Elite partners are experts in business infrastructure and server solutions and help customers achieve business and IT objective through server consolidation, optimization, virtualization, and security solutions.  The BladeSystem consulting practices offered by these partners include business critical, industry-standard servers, and storage blades. In addition, these professionals understand the infrastructure and storage environments in which BladeSystem resides.
